- If Passport validity is more than 10 years.
- Passport should be intact and properly maintained; presenting torn or pages apart or missing will lead to visa rejection.
- While there should be a proper reason why you want to travel to schengen country, ensure, you have adequate amount of finances maintained on your bank balance sheet.
- Provide the evidence of your stay by hotel booking and your itinerary of travel on how you are going to move across schengen regions etc.

-If the child is adopted, prove it by presenting adoptive certificates.
- If you have schengen visa that is still active it won’t give you another schengen visa.
- If you have previously overstayed in schengen country and it is most likely you will be denied visa. But it is always good to check with the visa officer and give a valid reason why you had to overstay. This way you may be allowed entry again, however it depends on case to case.
